Close to a mile long at low tide, Whitesands is popular with surfers, families and children (who especially enjoy the rock pools). There is ample parking (car park run by St Davids City Council £6 daily car charge 2023), a café (St Davids City Council) and public toilets (Pembrokeshire County Council 40p charge for entry). Whitesands Beach is a couple of miles from St Davids City on the west coast of Pembrokeshire, Wales.
It is overlooked by the craggy hill of Garn Llidi, with St Davids Head to the north west, and looks out across the sea to Ramsey Island.
Whitesands is one of the best surfing beaches in Wales.
